La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, Spain has taken more than 100 years to complete. The construction of this amazing Roman Catholic church commenced in 1882. In 1883 Antoni Gaudi, who is one of the greatest architects of all time, took over the project in 1883 and worked on it until his death in 1926. As of 1926 the project was only  1/4 complete and progress of this epic Architectural structure has been slow. In 2010 the project passed its midpoint from completion and ever since there has been a big push to finalize the project by 2026. Yes 2026 the centenary of Gaudi’s death.

The foundation who is leading the completion of the church has released an amazing video that depicts the final stages of construction. Check out the cool video below and please share with us your comments about the final stages of La Sagrada Familia and please let us know if you think this grandiose structure will be done by 2026.
