How do you define art?

I think art is meant to disturb in the essence that human viewers can appreciate it. It is where imagination is applied which go beyond creativity. I think that art is one way to run away without leaving home. You think and explore and just let your creative thought work and see how far you can go, there is no ending, it’s always been around the clock.

Why do people need art in their daily lives?

Some of us may not notice but art is everywhere. People assume that art is just more on painting, drawings, street art/graffiti etc. But you can’t build a house without art, you can’t put a candy on a wrapper without art, it may be in other various field but still It’s art and that is what makes everything so interesting. We are attracted to it; it just depends on the point of interest of a person.

What drives you to create art and what inspires you?

I like to draw / paint happy things, elements that have a meaning in my life, things I like; sometimes I am peculiar with my drawings. Loving your work is the best way to create an art because if you believe in yourself even as a beginner, you’ll end up getting more recognition. You don’t say “He/she is way better than me”. I think having a personality too is fundamental to show yourself out there. – Lots of dedication effort, just like any profession, and yes it will take a lot of hours of work, very physical and mental effort. My inspiration are the artist who continuously draw everyday using their gift as a profession, they are the people I look upon.

What does your creative process look like when you are looking to begin a new work?

First thing is a reference, (it depends if you are more into imagination) then I’ll try to understand how to draw everything before I interpret it on a canvas/paper, then work on it , and focus more on details and lastly meet deadlines, never ever leave your art unfinished. It’s like eating the tip of a pizza and throwing the rest of it. But still, no excuses.

You produce art in various ways, how does each style affect you differently?

Sometimes the use of vivid colors are not appealing to them which is mainly my style, we can’t really please everybody.

What is the reality of our art world today? Do people experience it enough?

People may or may not get notice because of expectation, but make use of critique. Don’t annoy other artists, but get what you can. Don’t follow the trends if you want to stand out from the crowd. Yes sometimes that is difficult, but obviously don’t do it to the extent that you don’t enjoy producing art anymore.  Have faith in the sense of believing that what you do is good, trust your work.
